Regression No, Biblical Retribution Yes

This thing has gone way beyond what the Stat Nerds call Regression. That's where, you know, things even out. This is asps, human sacrifice, fire and brimstone and possibly the dispatching of first born. I'm kidding on that last one. But this is Really Bad.

The so called Dodger fans/Stat Nerds like it that the team is losing because then they get to boast about how smart they are/were about the regressing thing. They aren't really fans at all. They're just so many locusts plaguing the Interweb. Big heads, small balls and no heart. Maybe the Giant Flood that's coming - possibly tomorrow - will wash there bug-asses away.

But I digress.

Somebody's clearly pissed. And my working theory is it's all about the new Dodger owners making Frank Lucifer McCourt RICH. The Mighty Galactic Father is asking, "What was that all about, people.'' And he's not liking the answer he's getting from Magic Johnson.

Now make no mistake Frank McCourt will get his. Whether it's the IRS, a road rage incident, a meteor, a crazed ex-Jamie boyfriend, he's on borrowed time. Anybody with Karma that bad could get hit by the Dodger team bus in his own parking lot.

Yes, I'm still bitter about it and will be forever. You could not make up something that absurd and loathsome. The only good news is GM Ned will be up a creek without an Ark really soon.

Also This Talk About Religion is starting to make me a believer in at least thinking about Chase Headley, the most overrated player in the Sabre world. He's decidedly average. But after looking at every possible third baseman in the league and their situations there are no obvious realistic choices for one reason or another. And there are no Dodgers minor leaguers within a couple years no matter what people say of recent draft choices. So I say, TRADE ALL THE PROSPECTS.

My Tragic Hero of The Day is Gilbert Venge. He's about the only true fan in the Tragic Chat Room. I may not agree with his stats and player choices but he's forever trying to stand up against the negativity of the stat boys who like hearing themselves sound smart. Gilbert I salute you.

Too much doom and gloom here for me.... I'm a very positive person and this is getting it of hand... Even Mike P says this is not a chanpionship team and commenters posting about selling... You guys are losers in my opinion... You can't say this team isn't a championship team... No one had us winning all those games early on and no one saw all the injuries... We can make deals we can get better... The game of baseball is tricky... I remember the 2009 or 2010 team going through a rough stretch on their way to te playoffs... Can you guys say 100% that we won't make the playoffs? Cards last season limped in and won... Once in you never know but the negativity is going to force me to stop coming to the site... What a let down these are Dodger fans?
